The EXCIMERlaser at the Visionis Centre is an extremely high-tech, latest-generation device.
This is the tool that "sculpts the cornea" in order to correct its imperfections. The 217Z100 laser evolves over time and is currently fitted with Advanced Personalized Technology (APT) software. Combined with the Intralase® FS60, it makes Visionis the leading "100% laser" centre in Europe.

ZYWAVE
Analysing and investigating the disorder

Visionis is one of the rare practices in France that can provide the eye's aberrometric measurements. A recent and complex technology assesses the eyesight defect with extreme precision: point by point, the ZYWAVE system analyses the components of the disorder in the entire eye - from the cornea to the retina. Excimer laser application software then makes highly customised correction possible.

A.P.T. (Advanced Personalized Technology) is the name of the analysis and diagnosis software that Bausch&Lomb® have developed for us. This holistic analysis suite carries out a thorough and exhaustive examination of the patient's cornea. The data thus generated is of vital significance to the treatment. It is immediately transmitted to the Excimer Laser so that the different parameters can be taken into account. The result is tailor-made surgery that is exactly right for the individual patient.

VISANTE O.C.T. SYSTEM
Structural analysis of the cornea

The Centre's latest purchase is the VISANTE OCT system that explores your cornea as no other investigative device has done before. The system is capable of detecting all structural variations of the cornea and is used, amongst other things, to determine whether or not it is possible to improve an eye that has already undergone surgery.
